As stated in the title, I need the exact location of the VIN on the block and the rear axle for my Stage 1. Thanks in advance!

Brett my VIN on the Suncoupe engine is on the pass side next to the timing cover and its printed vertically. My axle doesn't have a VIN but does have a 2 letter code on the pass side tube near the pumpkin very hard to see. Not sure of the code right now but I checked it and its original.
The Master Parts books have just been added to Boattail Registry Library. The illustration sections contain rear axle code locations drawings and decode charts - for 68 to 72 Buicks - Model Identification, color, trim charts etc that go back to 63/65. theowners information section of the library also has a documentation and decode guide - although specific to Riviera does apply to some others
