I will speak with my wife but I do not see a problem with going (as long as kids aren't sick). Most car shows are on Sunday and my wife never gets to go. There was a big one down here at Sample road and the turnpike(festival flea market) and what was missing most about this show were buicks. There were a few, but way too many chevys.

Hey Joe... My name is John Carroll. I see your post about the Park Vista car show, a bit late though. I'm writing you about some meets my son and his buddies have with their T-Types and GN's. The one guy, Dave, owns a shop in Lake Worth. Him and his brother get a pretty good group of turbos together. I think last Sunday there were about 25. I have 2 '68 Gran Sports. One is a hardtop and the other a convertable. It would really be nice to get some V8's to show up. They're a really nice group to hang with. Give me a shout if you are interested. I live in Palm Springs. 561-965-4921 John

    Hey John!

I was there! We met, but you probably didn't connect my screen name with me. I was the one with the Mazda 6 with the lame battery. Got a new one today!

Yep, a fine bunch of guys - with some pretty sweet rides. Funny, I was most impressed by the 200? Ultra running a turbo.

I had been talking to Shev about a group going to the Park Vista show. Nobody made it due to the high rain chance (and it did rain some). Good show though.

My car is in disassembly for restoration. It will be a LONG project considering time and money constraints. When it is road worthy, I definitely will bring it out there.

Nice to see you've joined this board. It's the best place for info and parts for your '68's. Another great bunch of guys (and gals) talking about cars and other stuff.

    Best Wishes,
    Joe M.
