painted today

    ApolloPaint3.jpg

    paint went on today after removing years and layers of 2-sided tape, caulk, super glue, and weatherstrip
    adhesive. still needs buffed and then install Black/Chrome side moldings that will match the wheels.

    paint baked on.
    going today to wet sand and buff.
    if everything comes out OK, I'll put the new moldings on too.
    fingers crossed - I'm a mechanic, but I can paint. (HA)
    I'm just enough of a painter to be dangerous.

    I appreciate that.
    I was stuck with a mottled mess - if it wasn't
    for the paint, I'd been up **** creek.
    All of my friends were amazed that the color match was spot on too.
