    Hello to the group,
I have been setting on a 1970 Buick gsx, BB code transmission, QQ paint code. Since 2006. Waiting for the day I could restore it back to original. Well that day is here!!
I am learning this is not an easy task!!!! I have a lot of questions:
Crossing the original QQ lacquer over to today's paint, the correct chassis black and the correct dash black color. Any tip in general will be greatly appreciated and yes I will be reading the many post try to find some of my answers.
Any help for you veterans would be a tremendous help
    Thank you in advance

Great progress is being made to getting my GSX restored! I still have so many questions with each step forward.
What is everyone doing about the shoulder seat belts? Use it as it was designed or is there an other option?
Any suggestions on where to get factory looking A\C parts?

Welcome, its great to see another X coming back to life. Given that your car is a real GSX I wouldn't alter anything I didn't have to. If you do alter something keep all the original parts. The Saturn yellow is available from PPG, the black I used is PPG Hot Rod Black and the red is a PPG fleet color WA43 If you need detailed information on the paint I can contact the painter. I also used a stencil kit to lay the stripes out. There is a print with measurements for the stripe lay out. I have a copy I can send you. Where are you in swfl? I am in the Fort Myers area.
