about to pull the pin on my 66 special to do the LSx swap and rewire the whole car. It seems that nobody makes a harness specifically for these cars unless you want to drop 7-800 bucks on it and even then it's not gender specific to it. Will a 66 chevelle harness fit these cars? Trying to make it nice without breaking the bank that'll I need to use for other things later. I'm not a painless fan(used them on another car and wasn't happy) and know very little about AAW(they don't sell a buick harness that I can find) Idea's from those in the know would be appreciated!

We have been a M&H Electrical Fabricators dealer for over 12 years and I can order every harness for your car. The harness are exact reproductions and will need to be selected as per your engine size, coupe or convertible, etc. You can order directly from them also. They also offer the one wire electronic distributor conversion kits, switches, as well as other electrical components. By the time its all said and done you will probably have a bit of money tied up in all the wiring but if you choose to go with a generic aftermarket harness, the time it takes to make it compatible will way exceed the cost of the M&H. We use plenty of M&H, Lectric Limited, and Painless harness depending on what the project is.

I considered that and will likely have to do a good bit of it anyway since I'm doing the LSx thing that everyone else seems to dislike. Just trying to see what body harnesses seem to be the best bang for the buck for now. The car is going inside this weekend and goes under the knife right away. My ultimate goal is to have the suspension and engine work done for HRPT along with enough interior to be comfortable. The patina paint will do for now. Thanks
