I know this may be a long shot but I knew if anyone could help me this is the place to start. My Uncle gave me an original AMT-Revell 1955 Buick Century and a 1956 Buick Century built-up models(looks like they are 1/32 scale) that he found at a flea market. He knows I am nuts about anything Buick and these things are neat! My problem is they are not complete and I need some parts, like a top for the 55 and a couple wheel/tires/hubcap combos and a steering wheel and dash. The 56 is more complete but I could still use the hood bird, trunk emblem and a headlight. I would also like to find original boxes for both to display them. Since he gave me these cars it made me start thinking about my old model collection from when I was a kid so I dug out all my old AMT 3in1 Buicks and I am now in the process of restoring them for my ever growing Buick showcase. I found out one thing, model paint aint' 10 cents these days! I recall a 1958 box said "Fun from 8 to 80" so I only have about 20 years to get everything done. If anyone has any parts cars or can put me on to someone that does please let me know. Thanks, Mike

Thats a tough one. The only thing you can do is find a parts car on Ebay. Its not very popular because they're 1/32. But those kits dont go for a whole lot even in their original boxes.

For 1/24th scale replacement parts try www.modelhaus.com. They make all kinds of spare parts for very hard to find kits.

Post some pics of your vintage plastic! I love old model kits, I have hundreds of mostly unbuilt 60's and 70's kits.

Thanks for the tips guys, I will keep an eye on the ebay auctions. I checked out the other site you mentioned, looks like a good place to get someparts for the 1/25 AMT cars. Now if only someone would make a 65 Skylark GS model I would really be happy. Thanks again, Mike
