One thing I thought was really cool....it has a pull knob in the glove box that opens the truck

It would make a very nice highway car. It'll never be worth a million but it would be a nice reliable cruiser. For the right money, it'd be a deal. What's the guy asking?

Buy buy buy.. On my phone it looks pretty decent, and asuming it runs, you're in it really cheap..

the car has been sitting for a year...the engine cranks over< but the jump box the guy was using was week...im gonna bring a battery to the car and some fresh gas to see if it starts today...except for the carpet the interior is pretty clean and intact...even the headliner is in good shape except for about a 4 inch section by the back widow

Check the fluids before you try to start it, i'm not a skeptic, just don't want to make anything worse! (Ok maybe I am...) looks like its worth at least $800.00 anyways!

$500 max, as it sits not running or driving it’s a parts car. If you could start it and drive it around the block then $800-1000

I was thinking the same thing...500 for it...if it drives somewhat decent and feels safe to drive...then I’ll pick it up and put some new tires on it and daily drive it to work...maybe..lol

It would be in my driveway asking what everyone thought if it were me that found something that looks that solid for that price!o_O

Anyway, a good rebuildable 401 core engine is worth $500 by itself, the rest of the car certainly looks to be worth the other $300 but see if you can talk the guy down a bit by all means. If he doesn't want to budge though I wouldn't call it a deal breaker for that price.

Like I said... I wanna see how or if it drives...see how the suspension feels when it turns and hits some bumps...how the transmission shifts and how the brakes feel...then I will talk about price with the guy...then I will look past the fact that the 87 year old original owner of the car put trailer lights in place of the stock tail lights......which made me laugh out loud when I noticed them

LOL! The poor old guy probably doesn't know what a computer is, let alone know how to track down those lenses.

As for most of that other stuff you mentioned, that's all super easy relatively inexpensive stuff to fix if you know how to do that kind of work yourself but could get VERY expensive if you have to pay to have it done.(YouTube is your friend if you don't know how)

I know right! Going to make sure it runs and drives good first for $800, what does that guy think it is 1980?:D

The poor old guy that has it is selling it for 1980 pricing, he must not know that there is over $5,000 in parts on that car!

If it was close I'd get it. It will wallow down the road. Anticipate your turns. I have a chrome tail panel for it, no lock or cover if your interested.
