    docgsx It's not a GTX

when you pull the auto out. You can see a casting nub where you need to drill into the block. I had to do the same thing.

You can see the area to drill into with the trans out of the way. It was really simple.

Holes are pre drilled in the frame for the z-bar pivot bracket. You just use the self-tapping screws to fasten it in place. It lines right up.

    Davis,
Thanks a heap for all the pics and insights. Tons of useful information, your time was well spent. I am doing the same with my 69 Skylark, but have elected to go with a Super T10. Would you mind if I picked your brain on two issues?
How did you manage with the back up lights hardware/wiring/switch conversion?
Also, how did you connect the speedometer?

The back up switch on an auto car is integral with the neutral safety switch. A stick car doesn't use a neutral safety switch, it uses a clutch safety switch. So you remove the neutral safety switch and replace it with a back up light switch. It's a direct fit. The purple wire gets attached to a jumper harness that plugs into the safety switch.

As far as the speedo, if the T-10 has a passenger speedo, just get a longer cable. You likely need a 70"
