operating top

    NEED HELP... I have the body off the frame. What and where would I use to hook up the top wires to get the top working up and down to do the maintenance before new top goes on. What would I use for power. Thanks Frank

    You can use a 12 v cordless drill battery.

    you connect the negative side to the black wire (ground) and then you should have i believe green and purple wires coming out too. connect the positive to either one or the other of these two wires and the top will begin to move.
    if i recall purple puts the top up and green puts it down.

    you actually switch the positive lead between these two wires.

    Could also use an auto battery charger on 2amp setting

    I used a portable battery jumper while I worked on mine and it ran the top up and down just fine
