I am sending the converter to Neil Chance as it is.....thats funny you would say that. The noodle strainer is an idea too!!!!!! Hummmmmmmmmmmm
Steve, From what I hear, there ain't gonna be no "next time". After this last attempt the car is coming apart and the motor will be re-located to a roller that is about 1500#'s lighter. With that being said, yall better tuck and roll......................cause' Cindy "the man killer" is gonna be piloting the green car after that takes place. Can't be anything like having a spose thats done with his 10 second car and hands it over. Personally...............I think Mike just wants to be able to tell everyone......... "10's ????????? BIG DEAL . My WIFE does that in her street car". :Brow:
Mike, what kind of stall did you have before? Or to be more accurate "at what rpm did your converter stall?"
I bought a 3800-4000 from ATI and I thought it was good enough. BUT I think it was more like 5000. I plan to have it a solid 4000 this time. I have the power all I need is to be able to stop the slipage on the top end.
Naaaaaaaaa! I just want to add my .02. I think, (after having driven said car) that the old converter flashes to more like 6000 or 6500!!!!!! (I was too busy steering to watch the tach :3gears: ) I think this will go a long way toward making that car fly. (and I am not alone :Brow: ) Good Luck, Mike! :TU: Jim
