So I was in Tennessee for work and was about 70 miles from the dealership where my 1970 Stage 1 was delivered. I took the time to go over to Twin City Buick in Maryville, TN to see the old building. It didn't really look like a car dealership today and it was kind of disappointing. The main library for the county was a couple of blocks away, so I though I would check out the reference area. The reference librarians were super helpful finding pictures of the old dealership (see attached). I was even able to find newspaper ads from 1970 from the dealer (also attached). The dealership moved a few miles down the road in 1976 and that location is still there. I sent the owner of the dealership a note and even got a nice reply. He stated that the GS was a hot seller back in 1970. Some part of me was hoping for an ad for my car or a photo from back-in-the-day. I didn't get that, but it was still pretty cool.
Cool info ! I have heard about Amos and Andy's before. I think it was for a license plate frame for sale on Ebay
