Is this normal? Been awhile since I’ve had this 350 apart. Looks wrong to me?

Looks like a normal used screen.
I would get a new melling 20is-5 screen. 20 bucks at autozone. Its 5/8 tube. The one pictured is 7/16 tube. I would suggest drilling out oil passage from pump to screen to 1/2 inch.

Why would you not get a bigger pickup tube to go with that. Its already a know shortfall that the oil pump is starved for oil supply.

Screen just looked flattened to me. This is from the 350 in my sun coupe. Engines been together for 18 years and the bearings still look great. Not going to mess with it much, just regasket, a little paint and put it back in and drive it.

The screen in my 350 was flat all across, no high centre.

Yep that's normal, if you've had no issues, clean it and re-install:D
