So there I am changing the oil on my little Ford Ranger, when all I had was 2 quarts of 10w30, 2 quarts of 10w40, and one quart of 5w50.

Its late, im tired, its raining............in it went.

Does this mean that my crankase is now filled with 9w38?

Seriously though Bob i'm sure it'll be fine but i would never do it to a buick:pp. As long as it is the same brand. I know a guy who used to mix a quart of synthetic in every oil change. Needless to say his was full of sludge :jd:

Cheers!.....cause i'm going to have another cold one!!!:beer

When your ship is out at sea and a storm is brewing, then any sea port will suffice. Thats how I interprate that.

    Welp..

As long as it was the same *brand* of lubricant, I wouldn't be concerned at all.

    mixed oil !

:Dou: sounds to me you'll have to do just like they do up north! in the evenings: put a lil bar-b-que under oil pan, then put old blankets over hood and grille, and rope or bungie strap to car . don't use duct tape though, they say that stuff is a real bear to get off in the cold ! if it doesn't start in the am you'll need to find a black peterbilt to jump start you ! remember the pete has to be black !! :beer
