  1. Reached a record high temp today, for Dec 10 in Fargo. Got up to 47 big ones! :beer Too bad October and November averaged about 30 degrees....should have been 60's and 50's. :af: Colorado is sounding better and better all the time... :Do No:

High today about 36 in MICHIGAN! Heat wave here too. Wind chills in the -15 range last week. Who knows what is next! probably that four letter word, but I doubt it, I bought a snow blower 2 years ago after the 22 inches in one day in Dec, haven't hardly used it since, same thing happened to my folks, 30 some years ago, bought the big ... snowblower used it once and then never again for 10 yrs!
Now we wish it was summer again, at 90 degrees no thanks, had that discussion with my dentist of all people, he's from MI, went to Santa Barbara, got a CA dentist license, loved the weather hated the atmosphere, came back to MI!

I need heat (above freezing) for at least one day so that I can finish putting the shingles on the new garage roof.... Last week we got 18" of snow in two days so I had to cover the exposed wood on my garage with a plastic tarp...:af: Looks like I may get a few days this week with the temps in the upper 30's so I should be able to finish the roof (if it don't rain :Dou: ). So far this year has been very cold around here (it was 6 deg. on Monday morning...burrrrrrrrrrrrrr).

Last year during the week between Christmas and New Years we got just over 6 feet of snow :eek2: (we had less than one inch on the ground before that storm blew in).
