I'm sorry a lot of these stories are nonsense, a lot of innocent people's lives are being DESTROYED simply over an accusation that in no way can be proven. If these two women were this deeply disturbed they would have come forward YEARS ago. I know there are mountains of wickedness that goes on every day, but authorities have gotten a little too zealous in these child molestation and female assault accusations. They will put you away now because your crazy ass ex wife wants to ruin you because she seen you and your new girlfriend at the lake. All I takes is "I caught him doing this to our daughter and was too scared to say anything" ,....its a double edged sword and I get that but it needs an overhaul somehow

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

My uncle had exactly that happen to him when he got divorced from his wife. She talked her teenage daughter into claiming he molested her. Once he was convicted and sent to prison, the daughter recanted but it was too late, and the authorities couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it. He spent 5 years in prison and has to register as a sex offender everywhere he lives for the rest of his life. All over a lie perpetrated by his ex-wife.

Obviously there is some evidence. Victim shaming is not the answer or productive in anyway.

It's a touchy one for sure ha, one of those damned if you do or don't. There are definitely victims on both sides of some of these cases tho

  7. Comedians being yanked off of programming because stuff they said 20 years ago, 50 year old unsubstantiated rape claims. 80 year old Christmas songs being ripped off the air because snowflakes believe they insinuate something that offends them. This modern world is going crazy

True if in fact there is a victim and the story is not simply being conjured up.

Happened to my brother. The only evidence they had was sorta looks like him and the guy had a green car which my brother had. So a warrant is drawn up and he is arrested. Except I was on vacation along with our other brother, we went to Hampton VA to spend a few days with him. On the day in question we went to the maritime museum so we had the tickets in our pockets, we went to a matinee movie (Beetlejuice) and had those tickets also. After the movie went to dinner together and I flirted with the waitress bigtime so she remembered us along with the time very clearly. The rape supposedly happened during the time we were at dinner and all in his green 71 Electra but the officers would not talk to the waitress before charging my brother. Turns out the real rapist had accosted several girls over a time before my brother even lived in Hampton but it did not matter to the police.

My brother Tom and I appear at our brother's arrainment with the ticket stub evidence and statement from the waitress. The magistrate is furious at the officers for not corroborating our stories before charging him and releases him to his own recogniscence. At the trial 17 witnesses all testify it is not by brother who assaulted them as he is 6"-8" too tall and there is no DNA evidence to connect my brother to any of the girls. One of the victims who was assualted but not raped was a neighbor who lived below him in the condominium complex and swore it was not my brother. The judge throws the case out. After several thousands of dollars in legal fees and three years the nightmare is over and he finally gets his records expunged.

They catch the guy and his face sorta looks like my brother but he is 6" shorter and 50-60 lbs., lighter and 8 years older.

Rape is a terrible crime and the guilty should be punished but to accuse someone on say so without evidence is scary. Now in this instance with multiple victims all saying definately him I would believe the witnesses.

I unfortunately experienced this twice in my life. First an ex GF charged me with rape after she saw me with my new GF and decided she was unhappy about it. Even though she later dropped the charges, I still have the cloud hanging over me in the form of old police reports. The second time another GF, this time a live in GF,, decided to start a fight with me and then called the police claiming Domestic Violence. I had never raised a hand against her and while she refused to drop the charges, I was later acquitted. I was put through a financial and emotional wringer and my reputation was smeared. Again, I will always have the shadow of these false accusations hanging over my head. In both instances the local LEO's were only too happy to take her side and do everything they could to discredit me. Haddon Twp NJ Police can all suck my ba**z and go to hell. I will NEVER trust another LEO for as long as I live. Cops and prosecutors are all too eager to get a conviction to further their careers. They are the ones who should face criminal charges for ruining peoples reputations too.

The question should be, "Who is the victim" the accuser or the accused? And if the accused is not found guilty, are there no consequences for the accuser, having ruined somenes life?

to some, the nature of the evidence is irrelevant, its the seriousness of the charges that matters.

Thank God for all these cameras in society We would have a lot more innocent people in prison without them For the guilty throw away the key

There ought to be a national directory of persons who have brought false charges against innocent people. Maybe they would reconsider before engaging in such reckless and careless behavior and bringing baseless malicious charges against someone. As it stands now, these accusers get to walk away while the accused has to live with the fallout for the rest of his life.
