From what I understand, the CC you received will be your last one. It's gone, period. The fact that you were able to renew so close to the announcement, plus the fact that none of the magazines which I've received recently had any mention of the shutdown, leads me to believe that it was a very hasty decision on TEN's part. I got Hot Rod a few days ago, and subscription cards were in it. I seriously doubt this whole debacle was carefully considered.
We got the letter from TEN today and I called the number at the bottom for questions: 1-877-485-6429. It took a wile because of "high phone volume", but someone finally picked up. I told them I did not want a digital subscription and asked for the money back. They confirmed our subscription and said a $14 check will be on the way in a month. I wonder if they will fold up before any of those checks are cut? Cheryl
Ditto on the letter...If I had WANTED a $@^( DIGITAL subscription, I would have GOTTEN a digital subscription... Think I'll give them a call as well. (I guess that the remaining few paper magazines will fold due to 'No money from customer refunds..."
I have to give them a call. I'm going to ask for a Hot Rod mag subscription to replace my remaining CC sub. I did get a mailing from Hot Rod last week, $20 for a 3 year sub. Hope it sticks around for a while longer....
While I will miss MCR at least now I can binge watch all the Roadkill episodes I’ve missed since it went to Motor Trend. I really like that show. Cliff
I finally got a phone call through and requested a printed subscription to Hot Rod for the remainder of my Car Craft sub. No problem.
My Car Craft subscription runs through ‘23. Tried calling 4 times with the message telling me “we’re receiving a higher than normal call volume. If you need to reach someone you can email this email address” & then just hanging up on me. Fifth call was the charm. Was on hold for 5 minutes or so, talked to a lady who found my info & told me I should see a refund of $58 & some change....but it could take up to 6 weeks. So we shall see.... Kyle
