Is it possible to note "SOLD" in the title when cars change hands? or . . .
. . . is this is something that the seller ought to do?

The issue is that I have been looking for a GS for some time. I find it very irritating to read the entire thread -- sometimes pages long -- only to discover that the car sold.

    TIA

You may want to place an ad in the Cars wanted forum if you haven’t already.

Agree - the OP should have the ability to add - Sold - to the original message title once it sells. I have seen this on other forums especially useful when posting questions for technical assistance and the word - Solved - is added to the posting. That helps resolve the question for the poster and lets the next reader that a solution was found.

OP can edit titles of their threads. The functionality is there, they just may not know or think of it. An op can also just delete the thread by deleting their first post or choosing the "delete thread" option under thread tools as well.

Under "Thread Tools" you'll see "Edit Title"

The simple solution is to go to the end of the for sale threads first, especially if they have some age.
