    Not a Buick kill but.

Sitting in my F-350, 7.3, crew cab, long bed, 4X4 with mods at a light where the road narrows to my lane in 300 yards. All the traffic lines up behind me except a 20 something in a new baby Lexus who figures easy mark in the jacked 4x4. He pulls around on the right waiting for the light.

As the light goes red on the cross street I build boost against the brakes and the kids in the Lexus laugh. Light goes green and I tree them by the whole truck length. Boost builds and I blow the 35" 315 BF Goodrich All Terrains away in a cloud of smoke (should have switched it to four wheel drive) to say nothing of the black cloud of diesel the Lexus disappeared in. While I'm back peddling to gain traction he pulls to my front bumper as I shift to second, the tires bite, I floor it and shoot ahead putting him at my back tire quickly through second and pulling him steadily. I figure him to pull behind me as the cement guard rail is closing him off so I just let off and don't brake as there is stopped traffic 150+ yards ahead. He stays in the gas, I don't know how he squeezed it between my front bumper and the guard rail so I brake hard to give him room. He stays in the gas, I don't know why and panic stops almost rear ending the last car in line as I coast up behind him.

He opens his door leans out and yells "you loose"!

I learned my lesson. No more street racing no matter how far the traffic is down the road; I never accounted for the ricer flyby.

Id have been tempted to squash his little Lexus with those big mudders Or over hang his trunk with the bumper. That big ole F350 grill looks pretty mensing in his rear view mirror.

Their in lies the problem with driving this thing, there is no chance of damaging bodywork as it is all above his door handles. The front bumper would have just crushed his side windows and door posts. The tires would have just peeled paint off the side of the car. The temptation to not back off when someone plays chicken is almost overwhelming.

I think you did right by backing off, when you saw that he wasn't. He'll learn soon enough that his Lexus isn't a race car when he tries to stop to short or turn to fast. Funny that people still think diesel trucks are slow, where have they been. I still count it as a kill. Good job.
