A buddy of mine needs to sell this 1963 Olds 98 Convertible, it's an 80,000 mile original car, never been painted, never been pulled apart. It's a veritable time-capsule. It runs and drives well, the A/C needs a charge, otherwise everything works. I wrote an appraisal on this thing a few years ago, and he's put about 50 miles on it since then. www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/strathcona-county/1963-oldsmobile-98-convertible-all-original-fully-loaded/1370275263?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
I've tuned it and driven it. It's a sweetheart. The "Slim-Jim" transmission is one of the smoothest I've driven, and this one still works. It handles tight, it was a well maintained car by it's original owner, the second owner kept it well and stopped using it 5 years before my buddy bought it, and my buddy has been too busy to drive it. It got started and driven around the block at least twice a year, regular oil changes and whatever maintenance it wanted. I don't even think he's ever had the headlights on, or tested the autronic eye.
