I think a lot of ricer kids can be converted. They buy what they can afford and what doesn't need too much work. They don't know any better! Most of them have never been in a 300 hp vehicle, let alone a car with some REAL muscle.

Most kids can't afford a $3,500 muscle project that needs a little work. They buy $2K hondas that don't need anything but a $20 fart can and an intake.

My friend was bragging about how fast his girlfriends G35 was and all this and that and how they beat this and that. I told him I've beat a few G35s in my truck before so they're not that fast. I gave him a ride up to Dallas in my hemi ram. It's not that fast but for 5200lbs it hauls ass. He instantly shut up and admitted that my truck would kill that G35. My truck will do 0-60 in 5 flat on all terrain tires and run mid 14s in the 1/4.

They can't help it. They just don't know any better!

Let's keep killing them and maybe one day they will learn to shut up

 

I think I'll have Jen pilot the GT for this one. She drives it far better than me. And then I can say that not only did they get beat, but they got beat by a girl on top of it :laugh: :laugh: Woo hoo..this ought to be good!


I can relate to and love this comment, because years ago my current Shelby was my wifes communter car and I would take it out some times and go beat up on people. I had one race where I got talked into racing this 90Gt that had all the usual bolt ons gears, exhaust headers, some kind of cam pullies...etc. So we go out and from a dig he gets me by a car or so till second gear where I pull up along side then just kept going from there had 3 cars on him before 4th gear....so now he wants to go from a roll....he wanted to be punished I guess so gave him the break and drove away from him like he was tied to a stump!!! Now here we are back at the "spot" talking about the race and I go over to the guy and thank him for the good sportsman he was about the race...........then tell him in front of everyone that its my wifes commuter car!!!!! He got ragged on for weeks about that one!!!! Priceless!!!

I do the same thing! All the kids in the school parkin lot talk trash about my '64 Buick all day long. I took some of them out to lunch one day, they've since shut up...:TU:

'63 Tri Pwr Doesn't have a Posi. His other one, the 4bbl car has posi.
