D;on't have an answer. I know the owner. I hope it is a true W30. Not sure how much research he did. He trust every to tell the truth.
    Anything else you see?

    Thanks

Nice colors. All W-30's were built in Lansing. M in the vin.

I’ve owned a lot more of those cars than Buicks. There is a lot wrong with that. Hard to say if it is a true W30 without looking at it better, but the real meal ticket for those cars is the paperwork, which a lot of those did not come with when the assembly was finished.
Looks like one that was for sale in California for a few years.

I WILL SEE IF I CAN GET THE VIN. I SAW THE CAR 2 YEARS AGO AND IT LOOKED GREAT. HOWEVER, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT OR WRONG.

For 60k that car better be showroom quality. Basic shifter. Trunk lid looks misaligned. No stripe on the trunk. Color looks off. Looks option less. 40k Maybe. Maybe.

GSX 4 speed just sold for 60k. Huge difference

I'm not saying this car is 100%. It has a few issues. However, there are 2 W30's for sale now for $70K plus money. Some have sold for even more.
If this is a w30. It's worth more than $35k. That's for an average 442 money.

Dang, 60K for a Oldsmobile. Guess I picked the wrong GM division to get Hooked on. Oh well wont be the last mistake I made.

Needs a 4 gear to bring something close to 60k

What people ask and what they get are two totally different deals.

Here let me post this and I will stop. Compare the two for basically the same price. Attention to detail. Those blue wheels are so not helping. Your buddy's 442 is nice but 60k nice? Not in today's market.

My black 4-speed W30 sold for $115k outright,no auction, but that car was a flawless museum piece with documentation.
This one for sale is not comparable.
For $60k,it still needs a little more. This is more of a $40k-maybe 50k,depending on what pans out with it.

I checked a few that sold at BJ. Low $38.5 to a high of $138k Several at $80k Didn't check all 12 pages. Other than the M in the VIN, how to you check? Built dates? What are they?

    Thanks

You can take BJ,mecum, and all of those other auctions with a grain of salt. All it takes is two guys that really like the car,and let the bidding begin. Then you have the spectators that watch that and you get the common situation where someone sees a car like theirs sell on there,so immediately they believe theirs must be worth the same. If it is the same caliber, maybe it is,but more often it is not. I should also add that just because the car is at one of those auctions doesn’t mean that it is a hi-caliber car. There are plenty that go through there with bubble gum holding them together. They just need to present well on the stage.
