Yeah, especially since the reproduction deal that was supposed to happen two months ago on this board hasn't even been updated by the thread starter.ou:
well I'm going to bid on it. I need one and need it soon, Yellow just won't look right in engine compartmentuzzled:
Chris, You might want to get in touch with your father in-law before bidding on this thing...ou: ou: It ain't gonna be cheap!
I wouldnt want to guess how much this sells for..........However anyone wanna bet that a one radiantasphault gets it???
Scott Miller AKA pnwsellers likes to deal in the higher priced and rare items for these cars. I wonder if he will be jumping on the actiono No:
That's pretty funny  . I have lost more then a few times to mr asphault. Is he on this board? Do you know who this is? I don't see any radiant bids yet at the $338 level. I might take that bet. o No:
Todd, I'm confident the repro coolant tanks is not a dead project. The BPG has been working on this also, to get a deal done. Hopefully we'll hear some good news in the near future. o No:
Bidding is closed .Seller must be cashing in early to retire..Hell NOS Buick beats the s&%# out of a 401k...............
And I thought I was the only one to lose to this guy! I hear ya, Chris. I'm wondering who this person is and just what they are assembling. Must be something nice with all those premo parts!
Numbers match stuff I'm glad none of my numbers match so I can get stuff like a catch can from Summitt or any place and not worry about it.
You basically hit the nail on the head Chris. Here's his e-mail to the bidders: "Gentlemen and Ladies, I wanted to notify each bidder that I have ended the auction for the NOS Buick Radiator Overflow tank. I received an unusual offer that I could not refuse. Thank you for your bid and your understanding. Brian gsx455" He must have sold it to the Godfather. I e-mailed him back, telling him that's too bad. He'll never know how high I was willing to go. Jeff
I seriously think a guy could buy a concourse car.Say even spend $30,000 part it out ,and make money.......so long as it included a NOS overflow, grille ,inner fender and core support
I can proudly say I beat Mr. Asphault. I think. It was a pair of NOS 69 GS tail light lenses if I remember correctly. I remember saying to myself, "I'm screwed now." :eek2: I went to bed with a proxy bid of $120 and woke up a winner at $86. They are flawless. One of my best scores yet, even if it was $120 it still would have been worth it.
