A "Race" or "High Performance 350" section would be cool.
It would weed out the stock type 350's (nothing wrong with that) from the wanna go faster guys like myself and others as gsjohnny said.
I find myself going to the street 455 or race 455 section more often when I have a curiosity about an issue or part.
I had RobbMc convert one of their big 455 mechanical fuel pumps to fit the 350 for me. there simply wasn't any big mechanical pumps available for the 350, nor was there any info on 'em in the 350 section.
There ARE some of us running our 350's hard, and there ARE 350 guys out there with seasoned experience that run the snot outta the 350, and THATS what I'd like to read about or go to for info or insight.
I remember the post I put up a few years ago asking about TA's composite intake gaskets, the FIRST and maybe only reply was from Foxes Den saying something like "guess not many needing 'em as most 350's are stock" or SOMETHING along those lines.
My first thought was WTF, that's not helping me, LMAO, But NOW I know exactly what Guy (Grumpy LOL) was alluding too:p
A High Performance/race 350 section may start out small, maybe even stay small, but it would help out guys like me and many other 350 guys that wanna push the 350.
Guys like gsjohnny and grumpy guy:D:D:D:D:D:D have a wealth of info on what works and have ACTUALLY did their burn out, staged, brought the rpm up, then when the last yellow goes out, GIVE 'ER HELL, release the brake, gas to the floor, front end rises up, you feel the torque push you back in your seat, rpm rises to 6500, bang second, rises again to 6500, bang then third, you hear the wind roaring all around the car, MAN THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT!! The results of your money, wrenching and hard work, I freaking LOVE it, you don't get that from a keyboard or chassis dyno.
I got myself all worked up now, gotta go to the bathroom, LOLOLOL

Anybody have to grind out the holes to get the S/P intake to fit? I did, the bolts would not go in and line up with the heads.

Look in the 350 race section for details.

you guys with the roller cams and turbos got more that I do but no Pro Charger 350's, what a shame, I know someone that runs a blower on a 350 you know one of those 671, 421 something like that. Now that's fabrication

I am waiting for the turbos to go to the track to see if the engine can hold up, wonder whats taking so long.
then we will find out if all that turbo heat will melt all the wiring from being too lean.

You can build a 350 with a small cam and make it sound good and such but it will barely beat a stock or a little over 455.

because...ring the bell ding ding, most are in the 12's and the hotter ones go 11.0, with the baddest going 10 easily.

how do I know, I was there!

"600 hp and 160 mph" quote of the day,

like I said my mouth is shut.

    Grump out.

I put that 125 shot on my engine in 2005. blew the air cleaner off once and ripped the driveshaft out once and hit the rev limiter at 6200 out of low gear on that 125 shot.

    Back then.

Where you all been still waiting for someone to show up to the party.

That's from head and block milling. The intake doesn't fit correctly. If you don't get a vacuum leak into the valley, then it's OK, but it isn't optimal.

The custom piston route eliminates all that decking/milling alignment crap. Cleanup/straighten cut is all thats needed.

My old turbo motor went to the track, I posted the time slips. New forged motor, not yet, but right now track is closed till fall due to Covid. Not much I can do about that...... But when it opens I’ll be there just to make Grumpy Happy!

Got lucky, I did have to use the thinnest gaskets TA had to get there I drew a line on the intake at the top of the intake to see if it was going to line up with head port and it just made it. My heads are ported so the line up at the top is right there with the intake.

Didn't think the block and heads were milled that much since the D/P fit, maybe that intake got milled some but I did not know it at the time.

My vac was the same as before so I do not have a leak.

Well...., due to Covid, our track never opened & all tracks were shut down in BC. So no track results with the new motor. I can tell you it is definitely faster than older set up that ran 8.06, 89.65 mph in the 1/8 mile with a 60ft at 1.979. Sorry Grumpy, wanted to show you how well my twin turbo set up runs, but will have to wait till next yr... I did take a video today, but this set up had problems hooking at the track... let alone on the street! Only running 8lbs of boost. I think I need to work on the rear end set up.... Any suggestions?

I missed this years race but was at the 2019 race. I ran friday and Saturday last year. Went rounds during quakers friday night program and runnered up in the v8 class on Saturday. Running 13:30s in my 350. I've been running a 350 for 10+ years. Its been a great motor over the years.
