These times they are a changing. Pretty sad as the interior paint was the best. I don’t know how you can restore interior plastics now?

I heard recently that Then and Now (Mark Reeves) will have fresh lacquer paint available. If I was wanting lacquer, I'd give him a call.

We used lacquer on Sandy's X when we painted it in 1991, still looks great and we were able to get the proper sheen on the hood and stripes. I still have an extra quart of the yellow, hope its still good. Since she drives it all the time in summer I've had to use it for a couple stone nicks.

4E582EFE-41F3-48FF-BF7C-32CD4CEF6AEF.jpeg I can’t believe I just found a can of the interior flat 71 saddle for upper dash. Can is over half full and is still liquid. Probably still good. I even have the thinner that goes with it. You thin this stuff a lot. It goes a long way. It is dated 9/2010. I think I tossed the semi gloss. I think it got hard. Cover most likely not on tight.

I had an unopened can of black as well but may have given it away. Now I kick myself. Black interior not as big a deal. You can find right shade of Krylon that does the trick.
