I recently came into possession of a newer quadrajet out of a corvette. neglected to ask what year it was. it bolts onto the intake manifold of my 430 quite nicely though i don't know what model it is. any help would be greatly appreciated also i can get better close up pics

Quadrajets have the same bolt pattern and any of them will fit any spreadbore intake manifold. Only exceptions could be choke clearances. Each quadrajet was calibrated by factory for the engine it was intended for. So, my point is, just because one fits does not mean it will work well for you. Quadrajets are great carburetors when they are calibrated correctly for the engine they are on.

The id code will be on main body, driver side running vertical above the secondary shaft.

checked the carb and came up with three part/id numbers. internet tells me its a m4m but searching the specific part/id numbers comes up with nothing. heres the numbers 17061827,17077554,17063677

learning as i go hope to have less newbie questions soon.

Those look like casting number in the round circles. Look at the stamped number on the drivers side of the main casting above the secondary throttle shaft.

That carb is most likely post 1976 Chevy model.....Cliff
