Hello All, Newbie here looking for a little help. I've been looking to get into the Buick world for sometime and really would like a GS. Thinking about looking at one this weekend and wondering what specifics you guys would be looking for as far as authenticity of the car itself and the specific areas to pay close attention too. I have the VIN number, maybe you guys can pick it apart. 434370K131608 I believe this VIN says its a GS. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Car has the standard interior, VIN decodes as a GS. https://www.nsclassics.com/1970-buick-gs-not-your-fathers-buick!-c-1895.htm
I can’t tell from the ad’s pics what badge is below GS on the fender, but the VIN comes up as a GS350. The air cleaner is from a ‘67 GS400; if you want to replace it with the correct ram air set up you should be able to find one on here. I might be interested in the one on the car should you decide to sell it. Oh, and welcome! Patrick
Wondering what the story is with this and when it was sold. Here are some pictures of it that are supposed to be current. Has the correct air cleaner now and different plug wires.
