well brad I think it depends on the weight of the car and trailer still. 6 even 7k behind my 01 enclosed or open was fine. I honestly think it could have exceeded that even but that's the most I ever did with it. my 01 has pulled a the same config truck 4wd 1/2 ton rc on a trailer never had a problem. enclosed heaviest thing was a dirt track car so idk the weight of all that.
I would never own another diesel sorry my 1 ton gas does everything that my diesel did and I can afford to fix it and drive it.
