Just thought I would share because its 1 of my Generations dream cars and a GM product. And also it's kina weird that Orange cars keep finding me and I'm not even partial to orange in the least.

1970 Z28 RS , numbers car with 1 repaint from 2002 I believe, LT-1 4speed, original Hugger 65-65 28.10 white stripe car with original BKW 713 hounds tooth seats.

If I was going outside of Buick, that car would be on my list. Very nice!

Yea I get that, I am a GM guy and love Buick, but I had a 70 RS 30 years ago and loved it, was Forest Green, beautiful car, missed it since. I also have a 1984 Mustang GT I bought as a new car still, my Stage 1 and now this, unfortunately I have to stop till I build the new house, with a five car garage, just couldn't pass this Z up, too nice.

A mechanic friend of mine had one as a teen and sold it years ago. His Uncle ended up with it somehow and he was able to buy it from his Uncle last year. They’re great looking cars.

While reading about these 1970 Z28's, I am amazed how great a car they really were, Fastest small block, NHRA adjusted the HP rating for the LT-1 from factory rated 360 hp to a real world 425 hp. and an amazing 380 lbs. TQ, and with the factory 4:10 rear a 13 sec. 103 mph 1/4 mi. car. Pretty impressive. 11:1 compression , forged everything and a solid lifter cam.........Chevy's showroom race car.

I remember reading a road test back in 1970 of the new Z28 and they said it would out handle a '70 Corvette on a road course.

When I was a lot younger a little dealer in Apex NC would take those off the truck straight to a local drag strip and run those for side bets. A friend that I saw just Saturday was the driver. When they finished they would put them in the showroom and sell them as new cars.

Very nice! One of my better friends has a '71 non-split bumper with a 468 and Corvette suspension. Never did particularly like those until I became friends with him. Love them now, your's is especially nice with the orange/white.
