Just bought my car. Guy has 17” foose’s. Nice rims.. just bot really my style... ive been looking at getting some new rims... i see a lot that i like but thoughtnid post a couple different styles on here and get opinions. My dad keeps going on about some american racing wheels that were big back in the day (hes 65).. all the ones ive found he said arent the ones he remembers... also mentioned crager ss but im not for sure... i kind of like the rallye tires that i find on different sites but there are some others too... i want a sporty look but stikl kinda fancy... i also was told about putting narrower wheels on the front like 7-8” and theb putting 10” on the rear... which i like the idea of but just not sure. Any opinions woukd be appreciated! Attached is a pic of the wheels now.

I'm with Gerry, I like the AR VNT70R of the ones you have in your post.

And I like the name you have for your car. Always thought Betty White would be a nice ride. ;)

The American Racing Torq Thrust II comes in a larger range of sizes and is similar to the original Torq Thrust.
I went for grey spokes but if you like shiny you can get chrome :)

18x8 Torq Thrust II & 235/55-18 Kumho Crugen tires on the Electra for comparison

I think the gunmetal gray would work well with my car

Went to the local wheel shop. Went through their selection of wheels and tires and their selcetion fo american racing and similar wheels didnt come in the size i wanted. So i decided to go with some Cragars, 15x10 on the rear and 15x7 on the front

I like a less shiny wheel on a white car, and the Buick rally on any Buick, there is enough black to make it fine for any Buick, IMO.

Heres betty with her new shoes, went with cragars. Got 15x7 fronts and 15x10 rears. Put brand new springs and air shocks in the rear too. Will try to take better pics next time shes out in the sun

love it, great choice. I love the old school look. I tried to get mine raked up in the ass like that with just new springs. I used Moog CC501 cargo coils and a 1 inch billet spacer, didn't come out anywhere near like yours.
Do the air shocks give a very harsh ride when pumped up like that? I haven't ridden in a car with air shocks since high school, cant remember...

Looks great, can’t go wrong with Cragars! I agree with you on getting the old ones off of there.

Well the shocks aren’t even really applied right now i have it at the minimum of 25 psi.. its mainly all spring. I like the look but i hope when the springs settle itll lower just a tad..... but no its kind of too soft for me it bounces like whore ridin a cowboy ha.. im actually hoping someone will have some suggestions for me because I definitely need to tune it and get it to ride stiffer.... i was thinking maybe getting rid of the air shocks and going with coils. Any advice?

what the hell springs did you put one there? I wouldn't count on them settling much, I agree it does need to come down a couple inches. I put those cargo coils on and I thought they were much taller, holy cow. go with a good gas shock, I installed Bilstein's, man what a difference.

Sorry i only check this a couple times a day usually. Anyways i just checked the bill and they were just some generic Duralast RCS6363S Springs. Maybe not the best but i just needed something to get the fender off the new wider wheels until i get more money to put in.

Just an update, took it out for a spin again today... much better ride. Idk if its from them settling but the super bouncy ride is gone and it rides much smoother, still a tad bouncy but tolerable

those springs are for a big car, a Riv, or Cadillac Deville right? They cross to a Moog 6363. its probably bouncy because you have your air shocks at the minimum air pressure, not much dampening, I think a standard gas shock would much improve your ride.....
