Hello, my name is Jerry. Just got my 69 Riviera Friday. Not new to cars, just new to Buicks. Had my eye out for a 69 for some time now. And just found one that spent it's whole life in Texas. Just two quick questions. It has a white vinyl top that I want to remove and replace with a black vinyl. The car top has just one seam in the middle of the top. But I've seen other Riviera's with two seams. Which is factory correct one seam or two seams ? Also my front side marker lights are small, but I've seen other 69s with the larger side markers, is this mid year change ?
    Thanks again Jerry

HI Jerry, 68 owner here. the 2 seams is correct. Once you remove the upper windshield trim you will or should see 2 screws where the old seams were fastened to the roof. Most people will not put those screws back into play due to the glass having to be removed to access them. The front marker lights you mention as the larger ones are a optional cornering light. If you ever wanted to install the larger light the wiring is already there.Small light is standard.
