Solid copy on the process, and I have a feeling some sore hands are in the future. Though that is the price we pay.. You also reminded me that I should give the wheels a good bath while waiting for the next step Thanks bud, it was extremely gratifying giving these wheels new life.
Taulb, do this.... Buy 4 15" Buick rallys, buy 4 15" radials of your choice (even 15" are getting hard to find) Buy 2 15x8 rims for DR's and lets meet at Norwalk for some track fun
Hey Mark, I think by the time I am done with my little adventure I will have enough wheels for a DR set. But I must warn ya.. you don't want any of my 15 seconds of fury haha Hey Das, Ill be doing as you mentioned and catch one of those $100 coupons they offer every so often. With the season nearing an end Ill be waiting till spring to buy tires .
Cut some time out and decided to finish these wheels. Got about 6 hours in sanding, scrubbing, taping and painting but they turned out great! Very happy with the results even with some areas of “character “. Hard to believe that I decided to go this route August of 17.. here it is April 19 and I am just now ready for tires.
