New project idea... What do you think?

    Darryl Roederer Life is good

Picked up a 70 skylark 2 door recently, and it's got the typical mid-western rust problems... Base-ball sized holes in the fenders, bubbling thru in the 1/4's, and practically no metal holding the rear glass in place.

Anyway, I thought it would be really cool to graft the entire [rear section] roof from a Ford Tarus station waggon onto it, and in affect create a "Buick Nomad" 2 door wagon.

What I was thinking is using just the top 1/2 of the rear door, and use the "opening glass" section only to access the trunk area.

Also, personally, I'd finish it off with the "woody" treatment...

    Well, what do you think????

    Ideas? Suggestions? Comments?

Sounds like a great idea. I'm glad I'm not building it...but it sounds like a great idea. Have you done any preliminary sketches or maybe a photoshop version of it you'd care to share with us?
