Thanks! 295/50r15's on 15x10 wheels. Those wheels will most likely be coming off. I'm trying to decide on something different. Im going to need to run a drag radial. This car is real loose when you get into it.

I have been toying with few different color ideas.....If I can stay on it I can make a final color decision. I have a good Idea what I want but I dont want to let the cat out of the bag just yet. Hopefully....I will be at the stage in the next month or two where I can start shooting some paint. I have the panels all fitted and its time to pull the front clip and the doors back off. The final result wont be for the purists but I hope to keep it within good taste.

They are 5 inch back space. I like a fat tire with a deep dish. The rear wheel lips were slightly modified for extra clearance. I have a set of 305/35r20 nitto drag radials for the back and 245/40zr18 nt555 for the front mounted to a set of chrome riddlers. Im not sure they will end up on it yet either so I may end up with two good sets of wheels and tires for sale. I think Im going to need a sticky set of mickey thompsons. Unfortunately I Have been pulled so many times from this project I have had a hard time staying focused on my original vision for the car.

I did some work on the passenger door tonight. Removed the inner door bars from both doors. The doors on this car are surprisingly solid. The passenger door had been hit and the door lock was twisted out but I was able to weld in a patch for the lock cylinder from a chevelle door I scrapped.

Did you buy "glass" bumpers & paint them??? Or use the steel bumpers & paint them. Is the re-chromed front bumper for sale???

That's a shame it looks like you've done all the hard work and done it well, I wish I had the money. I wouldn't even know where to start?

I agree! I love the look of this car, seems like you have done quality work. If I had the garage space I would definitely be interested in this one....

Just putting out feelers....I Have a lot of parts I have collected to finish it up. Unfortunately I have taken on a lot of responsibility at work and I Don't have much time to work on my own cars in my garage. I also committed to a 72 nova project prior to accepting my new role at work so that is my priority now. I even found a nice 70 survivor Skylark Id like to purchase as a cool driver if I can sell off a couple of my toys. My though is that if I bought the 70 Skylark, at least I could enjoy that until things get back on track. I love old cars but I don't have the free time I used to have to enjoy working on them.
