Finally found camera and got around to taking some pictures. I am always changing something but here are some pics of the completed setup.
This is the Braille battery. Only weights 21 pounds but more important allows the intercooler pipe the room needed.
All I can say is - wow. Beautiful car, great set-up and engineering feat. Just curious what she dyno's out at, and whether you've track tested, and more importantly how many Mopars you've utterly buried...let the kill stories be heard!:TU: :3gears: :bglasses:
Have a couple of hundred miles on it. Still working on lots of little things. No kill stories, dyno or track numbers yet. Don't know why no one wants to run it. "just ignore that whinning sound.. the fan belt is slipping." Thanks for the kind comments.
VERY Nice Doug. I'll try to let you know when Pete, The Chief Of Police here in Linden has his annual burn out contest in the parking lot in back of City Hall. PONCH
All I want to know is when am I going to see it in person? We are going have to meet in the middle somewhere.
Wow! But can I ask why your battery is still up front? It will give you a little more room and better weight distribution. Just saying. ANd where did you get your super charger from??
We need to have a boosted BBB meeting for sure. Should get my hydroboost braking system done this weekend. Really need some stopping power!
I do not like trunk mounted batteries. To do a good trunk mount was going to be $150 to $200. Also add to the total weight of the car. Instead put in a Braille battery up front for $175 and took 25 pound out of the car.
Looks good Doug. Any plans for a cold air system?.. picking up your air off the headers can't be good for air intake temps. JW
Should not need much more than a shield. Have pretty big intercooler. Of course when are they ever done? Thanks for the comments.
I just got the mosquito control contract for town. So all I have to do is have a burnout contest every week right on main street. I will have you clear all of that with Pete for me.
Nice turbo Doug, I am not sure why you have a belt connected to it but very nice:grin: When are you going to get some track times?
   Thats just the rubber band I use to hold it in place. Someday I will get the exhaust hooked up to it. Right now I am putting a hydroboost system on so I can stop the thing. That seems to be getting more important.
