Thank you! I have attached an image of the front of the interior. I can get you a better picture of the dash tomorrow though. I’m going to be redoing my dash, albeit in a similar style to this.
    Thank you!

Welcome from Illinois from not only another `65 Skylark member but also a sbc powered `65 Skylark. When it becomes possible to build a very streetable sbb to perform like my very streetable sbc without hanging twin turbos on it, my Buick will return to a Buick powered Buick. Sorry guys. Until then, I still love my car.

    Thank you!

My opinion on engine swaps is get the most power for the money with the greatest street driven reliability. Bonus points if you can keep it manufacturer specific, extra bonus points if you can be brand specific. Until Buick releases a modern sport variant with an LT1/4 I'll be planning on swapping in a modern Chevy engine.

Well, I don't do a lot of shows and when I do it's mostly local shows. We spend more nights at cruise nights but what I have discovered over the years is that while most people know what a Chevy engine looks like but very few people know what belongs in a `65 Buick Skylark so with that I decided to have some fun with mine, and I not only fool almost all Buick guys around here but a heck of a lot of Chevy guys as well.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Welcome, from west Michigan, Drake! Very clean Skylark. Any underhood pics?

Bill, I did a doubletake. Engine looks a lot like a 300! I can see where it would fool many.
