Hey guys! I've been reading around for the better part of a year, and I finally decided I had better join. Sad to say I don't own any cars with Buick badges yet, but I do own another which has been improved by Buick power. Attached is my 1979 Cutlass Calais powered by a SF code 455 and th400. I have been a lifelong Buick fan, and this being my first experience with one has made it interesting.
Looking forward to being a member!

I had a Buick powered 1972 Olds Cutlass in high school. 71' Buick 455 block that powered it is in my restored 70' Skylark now. From high school , 1978-82' to present day, still prowling the streets. .....that ole 71' Electra 225 big block has still got it! Jim

Jim that is exactly the goal with this one. The engine is a 70 and 70 is my favorite year of gran sport, and some day I wish to find a very solid skylark at the least and put this Buick back where it belongs. It came from a 2 door Electra 225. I would never have parted with such a neat car, but it was thoroughly trashed, from roof to frame, there was more mud than steel. I saved at least her heart and that makes me feel a little better.
