I just got a 1972 Riviera Boat Tail, a 33,000 mile car from the original owner, who was just a mile from my house. I have two questions. 1) Where is the location for the build sheet. 2) I did find hog-ringed to a spring a piece of IBM paper with hand written numbers on it. Goes like this: First line 232 ---- 4675 Second line 9487 ---- 688 Third line A01 - 51 - 31 - 46 - K1 Forth line D55
Yes Chris, Owner was in a hurry, after a brief conversation, we agreed on price, took it off his hands. Will be cleaning, detailing and correcting some minor imperfections
Lucky you Louie! I remember seeing pics on the board of that Riv - wish I had the room for it as it looks incredible.:TU:
Boattail or Boat tail.....? Think about it  If you are lucky, a lazy factory worker left the build sheet on top of the petrol tank. But if she/he did the job right, it ended up in the garbage bin :Smarty:
Wow 33kmi with black bucket interior.:beer Very nice. Congratulations. No help on the build sheet. Not sure I've ever seen one for a 71/72 Riv so as mentioned finding one would be like finding hens teeth.
After 3 hours on the front and rear bumpers. Cleaning the exterior, the car starting to look great. :TU:
Beautiful Riviera, Louie. Next year to the BPG Nats maybe?? After last year's Wildcat special next year a Big Boat and Boattail gathering... __________________ Rob B.C.A. #44653 R.O.A. #10541 B.P.G. #2161 68 Wildcat Custom 2dr 71 Electra 225 Custom 2 dr 72 Estate Wagon 73 Riviera 75 Riviera GS
