    Thanks im gonna need it trying to rebuild the cowl area lol I called DVAP this morning and as mentioned they want $650 for just the upper cowl panel. Not gonna happen. Im not rich. Only paid $350 for the whole car lol

    Personally Id sand blast every inch of that area and rebuild it with glass mat n resin. I've done cars just as bad and all have turned out good and once painted with the glass replaced no one could tell. Just as solid as steel and will never rot again.

    That's exactly what my dad said as well. Only hesitant because I've never worked with fiberglass before. Might have to give it a shot.

    If it dont turn out how ya like it, grind it out and do it again. the material is cheap. Get some good latex gloves and lost of cheap throw away paint brushes
