NEW HERE! 1970 350 Skylark

    My name is Jason,
    i have a mild built 2 dr hard top 350 Buick skylark.
    t/a cam kit, t/a headers, dual 2.5 flowmaster exhaust, t/a 4brrl intake, edelbrock 750 carb(to much fuel?)
    mallory distributor with vacuum advance(ok to block off?)
    glad to be apart of the v8 family!

    Where you from?
    750 cfm is what factory Quadrajet was for 350 Buick.

    Very good looking post coupe, Jason. So understated yet sinister looking too. Enjoy the forum. Can you state the advance curve in your distributor and at what rpm it's all in by? Most Buick 350s like up to a total of 35 degrees of advance all in by 2500 RPM or so. And, if you want reasonable fuel mileage and throttle response, you should leave your vacuum advance hooked up but limited to no more than 10 or 12 degrees if you bring the centrifugal all in as mentioned above.

    My sister in law is out there off of highland valley springs....right on welcome man from... The IE...yep there is a prison out here...sweet ride...there is a car show in July in northridge bro buicks N olds N Pontiacs..you should check it out
