Wow, compared to a "rust belt" car that IS no rust LOL! Im sure you know if that car was from Ohio it wouldn't be a car anymore
Craiglee, Nice work on the undercarriage and floorboards! Looks Great! This is the right place to sell or trade any extra, unnecessary parts; but not in the "Wet Behind the Ears" area. At the top left there is a tab that says "Home" and "Forums." Click on "Home" then scroll through those down towards the bottom and you will see: Buyer/SellerFeedback Cars and parts For Sale LEADS EBAY Cars and Parts And then you'll see Cars For Sale, Parts for Sale, Cars Wanted, Parts Wanted. This is what you want. Read through some of them before posting just to make sure you're in the right spot. Again, Looking Good! Philip T.
Welcome from Middletown, hope to run into you this summer at one of the many cruise ins and shows in this area.
Sorry Being a newbie, I didn’t realize that I had a second page with replies. Duh! Just found them. Thanks to Philip66 for the info about where to sell items and thanks to the Dayton/ Middletown/ Lebanon area guys for the welcome. It would be cool to run into you guys someday. I have really enjoyed this site.
Greetings fellow 64 owner! I just picked up grammas car in December. Its a 1964 Special Deluxe that had a V6 and 3 on the tree, soon to be a 460 (455+.040") and a four speed with bench seat. Bare bones with PS and PB's. Enjoy, and do upgrade the brakes to a double master cylinder! Bill in TR.
Welcome from New Mexico! Gotta love a '64! Mine is on original Arctic White car with black bucket interior. Also has the halo roof trim like yours. I noticed yours is a factory A/C car, I'm planning to install a factory A/C system in mine this spring. Have most of the parts gathered up. One way to tell if your car was a California sold car is there would be a rubber tube going from the left valve cover up to the air cleaner. Of course that could have been altered in the past 55 years. Mine had that when I got it in 2011, it was built in Fremont. That info is on the tag on the driver's door jamb. Good luck with your project! It looks pretty cool already!
Great car Bill! Your pics remind me of the excitement that I had when the shipper arrived with my car this past July.
Thanks for the welcome. I looked at my tag on the door jamb when I first got it and I think it was built in KS city. Unless I’m remembering wrong. I do plan on getting my air cond. going but it will probably be the last thing I do.
