Nice video, I wanted to see the interior of the 66/67. The ignition switch and a/c control panel show it's a '67.
This ain't the movie to take squimish people to. About every way to die you can think of - stabbing, shooting, squashing, grinding, splattering, etc. It won't win any awards, but if you like action flicks with loud cars coupled with prisons, this may be for you. I imagine it will be out on DVD within a month. Not a bad way to spend a hot afternoon though. If you have a 66-70 Riv and ever wondered what the underside looks like, you get a real good view when the car comes to a stop upsidedown.
"upside down"!! AWESOME PICS!!!!!:beer Now if any of you fellas can get a hold of some Riv gun turrets let me know!!!
Found this on the web about the 66 riviera. From this site. http://jalopnik.com/394718/the-cars-of-death-race Engine: Stock 430c.i. V8 "Nail Head" Crane Ignition System Transmission: 3 speed automatic Suspension: Big block springs KYB Gas Adjust shocks Wheels: 17" Eagle Alloy Wheels Tires: Front- Toyo Proxes T1R 255/45R 17 Rear- Toyo Proxes S/T 285/60R 17 Stunt Modifications: Roll Cage Kirkey Aluminum racing seats RCI 5 point harnesses RCI fuel cell Tildon secondary hydraulic brake system Battery moved to battery box in trunk
The information on Jalopnik and on the official movie website is wrong. The car is a 1967. The car that was used in the movie originally had a black Strato bench seat which was partially redone with white vinyl on the seating areas (not too good looking!).
2009 fast and furious looks pretty good plus a grand national is in it! Finally a buick! check it out! http://www.beyondhollywood.com/official-fast-and-furious-4-trailer/
