I guess I totally missed this thread since its initially labeled as knobs for console cars. I need a patterned shift knob for a non-console 4 speed! Are you going to get any more of those? Thanks for offering this to the community btw!

My GS455 had the standard Hurst t bar handle when i bought it. I at least swapped it with an old school chrome patterned ball, but would love to make it correct since she's a numbers matching 90% original girl.

I'll take a plain . Had my car 34 year and thought the knob was original with pattern .

WELL...........I have to ask, why in the heck does the GSCA think Dave's shifter knob is too shinny and deducted a point for it? ARGH!

I think they're using the NOS ones as an example but it's been proven (maybe even in this thread) that they were shiney & we all know how particular @copperheadgs1 (Dave) is about his stuff.

The picture of (what later became) the red Jones & Benisek race car clearly shows the shift ball to be shiny.

Looks like someone needs to do their homework a little better.

I looked at magazine pictures as well and they sure look shiny to me so I went with that.

Remember everyone was painting flat black air cleaners and that was accepted?

    SO TRUE !!!
Some of the Buick owners are getting like Corvette owners .
Picky for details , but many of the restored GS's are OVER restored !
They didn't leave the factory like that !
Owned mine 35 years and enjoy it like it is !

I think the same shifter works for forward and back-up.:D
