I am restoring a 67 GS400 that was an original 4 speed car. The clutch fork does not have a place to hook a return spring and I can't figure out where the spring should hook on the other end. The fork has a short (about 1/4 inch long) stud sticking out the back of it near the end. Was there something there that is broke off? A picture of the area would be great. The shop manual picture shows the front end of the spring hooked in space. Maybe an Assembly Manual would help but I don't have access to one.

    Hi James,

I am happy to take some pictures, Can you give me a bit more direction as to what I should try to capture? The clutch from under the car?

I need to see where the clutch fork spring connects to both on the fork and the other end. I don't know what angle would be best. I really appreciate you doing this.

That's fine just do it when you get a chance. I've go a lot to do on the car before it's running. Thanks again. I missed an e in my last name in the previous post.
