I'm new to the site and Buick in general, (heavy into Pontiac). I'm dropping a 430 into a 72 Skylark and need a rear sump oil pan and pick up tube (5/8") if anyone out there can help!!
I might have what you need,will check the shed,just pay for shipping and they are yours,from a 76 455..where are you located? and welcome to the site!
The 430 only has a 1/2" oil passage, so a 5/8" isn't needed. It is advised to open up the oil passage to at least 9/16". then use the 5/8" pickup. This problem is a oiling issue buick had till 71 when they opened up the passages and installed the 5/8" tube. gary
