anyone have any suggestions? Craftsman has one on sale right now......a 3 1/2 ton unit that looks pretty good.

My wife just gave me a new craftsman floor jack for Christmas. It's a 3 ton and it came with a pair of jackstands, lug wrench, wheel chocks, fender pad, jumper cables and mechanic's stool all for $99.95.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it looks great. My last Craftsman floor jack lasted over 20 years, hopefully, this one will be just as good.

That's the same one I was going to go look at this weekend. Looks like a pretty good deal and you can't beat Craftsman. Think I'll just go get it.

I saw a Craftsman jack and 2 stands for 79.99 a week ago. The downside...... all those jacks are made in China. However, they seem to hold up very well.

Harbour Freight always is giving the Chinese stuff away. Might try them just to comparo.:)

I have this buddy that USED to make fun of me for spending 300+ dollars on my floorjack only until his 3rd Craftsman crapped out.

    NOW....He has a LINCOLN:Dou:

This is one of those get what you pay for products.

The LINCOLN is great for low cars and uses little effort to raise.
Very little travel of the handle and the "pad" will respond.

Spend the extra money, you'll be pleased.:TU:

Would you say the Lincoln is the Cadilliac of floor-jacks? Sorry, I couldn't resist.

i tried a couple of those "one pump to the frame" jacks. one was a craftsman. both of them were waaaay toooo slooow at gettin the car in the air once they touched the frame.
that set with th craftsman stands, fender cover etc. seems to be really nice jack. and it doesnt take 2 people to lift it up to a pick-up truck bed.
i am a big fan of the "universal joint" operated valve as opposed to the "2 gears" operated valve.
why not just run to the salvage yard and buy a few nice bumper jacks?.....LOL
