I want to replace the AC box with a nice AC delete cover. Can someone provide a link to a cover that fits well and is not made out of plastic.

The car is a 70 Skylark.

    Thanks

    Jim

Don't know, I could only find the plastic one. Seems to fit ok, I had to drill on extra hole.

I used a plastic one I got from OPGI. When I recived it I was worried it was a little on the flimsy side but it worked ok.

For some reason on my '72 skylark 350-4 I had a hard time installing it because the head and valve cover prevented me from sliding it in so I took a heat gun to heat the corner of the delete cover enough so that I could shape it enough to make it fit. I used black RTV to seal it agenst the fire wall and I also had to drill a hole to make it fit.

You can see the cover to the left in this photo. I also cut out a hole for the blower motor relay and sealed that with black RTV also.
