I'm getting ready to rebuild my holley 3310-3 750 vac secondary carb but I am not sure of the coorect location of the base plate screws. In other words there are 6 screws holding the base plate to the main body but there are 8 locations where the screw will physically screw into so obviously 2 holes will be unused but I do not know which 2 holes. Last time and the first time I did a rebuild I didn't visually remember where the screws came from so I just put them on the 6 outside holes including 2 that were part of the air passage (there is still room for air flow around screws. The 2 unused holes are round as are the 4 that I used. I was afraid of using the inner round holes because it looked like if the screw backed out or vibrated lose it could drop into the intake manifold whereas the other locations seem to put the screws only over the metal part of the manifold. However I'm not sure if by using the locations that are air passages am i affecting performance in any way. hopefully someone can show me a pic or tell me where holley originally located the 6 screws or which 2 holes they left unused. All the holleys I have, again al have been disassembled and reassembled without me locating the screw locations so i know its only 6 screws but 8 usuable holes. thanks.

Thank you, I guess I originally did it correct then.
