Need guidance for cowl clean up on 71 skylark

    I've come to the conclusion the absolute least photographed part on a buick is the top edge of the cowl.

    Does anyone have a nice clean shot of their cowl edge (the part that joins the engine bay (firewall) to the top of the cowl.

    Would prefer not to weld, but surely the body filler and rolled seam can be cleaned up a little. Need to do something to pretty up that line a bit

    Don’t know if this helps or not but...
    My car (a 70 GS) is at the body shop, but I zoomed in on some pics I took before it left.

    Not much can be done without major reconstruction and lots of welding. You can trim it back to the edge of the spot welds. But not much will be gained imo.

    Appreciate the images. We have welded and cleaned up the firewall. However that top edge of the cowl -the seam, where the two come together just looks challenged.
