Ok, so I just grafted a 2dr Regal to the front of da wagon and its almost ready for paint. My dilema is the interior color is dark brown. I want the paint color to blend naturally to the interior without it being a drab color. I am thinking Dark Green. What are your thoughts. Trying to avoid the "Hoopty" look. :)

    Thanks,
    Jon

    Hey, Jon.

    NIIICE!!! :bglasses:

This is the best I can offer as ideas for your Regal-Wagon's (455????) color based on it's interior.

I tried to find a "Harvest Gold" Regal online, but only could find the tan T-type/Special-T.

I LOVE the color "William" suggested best ... thus far.

    Enjoy your Project.

I redid my 1978 Chevy PU. It was two tone, dark pearl brown and cream. When i redid it I just painted it the dark brown and I used gold pin striping and I painted the rims gold.

That color just poped on that truck and looked great with the gold pinstriping.

So I would say look up the brown for a 1978 Chevy 1/2 ton.

I looked this up quick and it looks like it's code # 81

Hey Staged, The wagon fenders are way different than the 2 door so I had to fabricate a filler piece to accomodate. Hind sight I would have swapped the whole front clip and modified the doors like others have done, but I was trying to keep my body lines straight. I like the maroon/red regal you posted. Also like that brown, and yes engine is 464 Buick! Boo Yaaaaa! Keep em comin guys!

    Thanks, Jon

I think I found it! 1967 Mustang Dark Moss Poly Green. Dark enough to keep it from looking hokey and will go with the brown very nicely. What do you think?

Personally, I dont think the dark green and 83 brown interior complement each other. Interestingly enough, the green colors were the only colors that you could NOT get a T-type in... I'm more inclined to go for the GOLD or tan... Try the 1987 color for Regal light chestnut metallic, code 58... or go with the 1983 color light briar brown iridesant code 62.

Do a search or go to the dealership Corvette Inferno Orange Metallic...looks like bronze/cooper with orange in it. I think it would go good with brown or tan interior...

Light Waxberry Metallic was the color of my old regal. It looked good with brown. It was a goldISH color.

Ok, I never came back to this post, but here is the color I went with. I love it. George N brought it to my attention. 1988 Camaro Medium Orange Metallic.

    What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Jon
