Here are some from Ali in Austin. http://www.texas442.com/Temple/ I especially like the one of me spanking the Regal off the line . Unfortunately he went screaming by me mid track . Ben
Here's a couple I took. Only managed to get one Buick on film o No: . Really wished I would have gotten a pic of the beautiful blue GS pitted next to me. The rest are the Oldsmobiles that made it out besides myself: A '71 442 4-speed, a '70 Cutlass, a '70 W-30 442, and a late 60s F-85 (? not sure about that one). Ben
I have some video. but keeping the footage of the orange OLDSmansMOBILE. Gotta pay to play. Ben give me your email and I will send them to you tonight. I missed the one where you fell alseep (courtousy stage).
This one is especially for you David!!!! Here's the look I gave everyone when they asked how the car ran.... Basically, it was :3gears: :3gears: and then :af:
Here are a few pics that I took; a couple of road pics following Nick Sloop & dewey little in their GS's from Houston. No action pics as folks in the tower frown on flash shots after dark..... Congrats to all the Buick winners, especially son Jarrod in his '67 GS400! I think everyone had a great time. Was good to meet Eric & Greg who drove all the way from Nebraska; the snowballs they brought melted pretty fast! Steve
That's the look of shock and utter amazement that I have made a fool out of myself for a 3rd time at the Temple track!!!
I have sound but, Dee I basically have your run till about 1/2 track..... How do you like that! :beer my camera does 15 second clips. I have a good share of the cars on video but not all.
Man you gotta love the staging lane pics.Very cool to see all those Buicks lined up like that.Looks like there was a bigger turn out of older Buicks this time. :beer
Here is an example of a clip I took at Noble, OK this past October. http://home.austin.rr.com/austinbuicks/buick (7).MPG
